You are courageous to be taking a new adventure in your life! I have been licensed and practicing since 1989, and have a wealth of experience and resources to offer you. I love working with and helping others turn their life around, or create new hope, and or new patterns, and I will compassionately guide you through the transitions that you may be in. I start with a thorough initial assessment, and ask you about the history of your symptoms, and presenting problem, and what your goals for treatment are. I am trained in a variety of modalities, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, Gestalt therapy, among a few, and look forward to learning about you and what would be most appropriate given your needs.
I believe in having a transparent communication style, and will be upfront with you about what I am thinking, or considering. I am respectful of your being in session, and will take great care to work with you to understand you and your needs. I am open and available for questions/consults, and /or if an issue arises in between sessions.
