I work with youth and young adults facing a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, identity development, learning differences, physical/athletic injury, disability, racism, trauma, grief and loss and other life transitions. Outside of my therapy practice, I am a seasoned school counselor, health teacher, and previous dorm parent. I have extensive experience working with middle and high school boys at an all-boys school as well as high schoolers living in an all-gender dorm. My specialities include working with students with ADHD, anxiety, and/or trauma.
I enjoy building a supportive therapeutic relationship with my clients and am passionate about empowering you to find agency and success.
I use elements of mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Strength-Based Therapy among other approaches in my work. Above all, I aim to co-create a therapeutic space with my clients, often meaning we bring art, athletics, or even my dog into session!
