I specialize in psychotherapy for presenting clinical issues such as anxiety and depression which may result from stresses throughout the lifespan. . As a seasoned professional, I am experienced with the full range of human concerns, and am a down-to-earth, active, engaged therapist. My mission is to help others forward in their lives, and quickly identify their "stuck points" which may be rooted in earlier life trauma. I have an accessible style and a practical approach which is especially empowering to parents, to young adults of both genders, to new mothers, and with women who are assessing their options for change.
I have worked not only with adults, but for years with children of all ages, and I have expertise in psychological testing and evaluation. Such testing can be helpful to draw the "blueprint" of the individual prior to the therapy which "modifies the structure". My findings can be integrated into useful recommendations.
Crown Counseling Associates, which I direct, has associate therapists available to see other family members, such as when a husband, wife, or child needs their own therapist. We are available for home and school visits. We consult with school administration, as well as legal and medical providers as needed. Therapists awork under my direct supervision.
