My primary clinical area of focus is working with clients who are part of the LGBTQ+ community. As a member of the community myself, I strive to provide affirming, knowledgeable and person-centered care. I enjoy working with children, teens and adults alike and my clients have included those who are gender creative/gender diverse, transgender, non-binary as well as the HIV+ community.
As a licensed clinical social worker and a registered play therapist, I enjoy working with clients of all ages, from young children to adults. Depending on the age of the client, I may use play therapy and sandtray. I have worked with clients with anxiety, depression, selective mutism, school concerns, trauma, dancers/performers and am LGBTQI+ affirming.
By looking into therapy, you are already on the first step of your journey towards change, and I applaud you for that step. Life is a journey that often contains detours or road conditions we didn't expect. I am happy to answer any questions or concerns you have about starting the process and would be delighted to meet you.
