About
I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families who desire positive changes in their lives and in their relationships. I understand the struggle of dealing with individual transitions as well as relational difficulty. With couples, I focus on creating a healthy connection. I work to understand the past in order to create solutions, as well as an opportunity to resolve current issues. In life, as well as in therapy, relationships are of the utmost importance. I believe that a safe, comfortable relationship with your therapist is essential. Together, we can work to build insight and restore your happiness.
I have the experience of working with many adult issues and relational pains. I worked on a university campus for 14 years, and have developed a unique knowledge of challenges faced by young adults. I have also worked with autism spectrum disorders and have a detailed understanding of the unique challenges faced by families of children with special needs.
My first priority is that the therapeutic process is client-centered. My style is genuine, warm and empathic. I understand that the decision to begin therapy can be extremely difficult, and it takes courage to get started. You will find the environment is a safe, comfortable place where each person is treated as a unique individual.
