I specialize in children, adolescents and adults. I help couples assess divorce,or remaining together, during times of crisis when assistance is necessary to maintain a long term relationship. Other areas of specialty: anxiety, depression, mourning, anger management, parenting skills, separation. I am familiar with 12-step work. I enjoy working with people of all ages.
When working with children I maintain contact with schools, with consent of parents. I work with gender non-conforming teens. I also am familiar with children survivors of suicide, parental death to cancer or sudden trauma. It is a pleasure to see individuals progress past painful life events without continued emotional pain.
I am also trained in Level II EMDR and may incorprate this technique into the treatment to enhance relief and results for symptoms related to OCD and PTSD. In a professional, yet warm, safe and friendly environment, each patient will receive specialized attention. This approach will be at forefront of our work together.
