It's not easy to reach out. It takes courage, and I appreciate the courage you're showing now. I work with young people who are navigating stress, depression, anxiety, and trauma. My approach to therapy is client-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed: I meet you where you are and provide a safe place to explore where you want to go. I take an integrative approach, using cognitive- and emotion-focused modalities along with mindfulness practices and exploration of the brain-body connection. In these ways, I aim to help you process your emotions and experiences and come to a better understanding of, and compassion for, yourself.
I work with adolescents who are navigating family and relationship stress, depression, anxiety, and self-understanding. Whether you’re working through trauma, building coping skills, or exploring your personal goals, I’ll work with you to create a plan for growth that feels empowering and achievable.
I work with you as an empathetic conversation partner, helping you to identify themes and patterns in your experiences and explore their impact on you and where they came from. Active, responsive, and non-judgmental listening is the basis for a trusting therapeutic relationship, one that allows you to reflect on your experiences in a safe space.
