Groups
DBT skills group for Adolescents
Associates in Counseling & Wellness, LLC is offering a group therapy program for adolescents interested in improving skills to cope and deal with peer relationships & self esteem. This skills / process group will address four key areas for adolescents that include managing stressful situations without impulsivity, forming positive relationships with peers, setting appropriate boundaries, and managing their emotions. The entire focus of the program is to help adolescents deal with this stressful time in their lives and develop healthy levels of self esteem and overall self worth. Trained therapists will facilitate the group and it will meet 1x/week for 6 weeks.
