I have experience working with people with a range of challenges including anxiety, family concerns, trauma, grief, and life transitions like starting or leaving college, job or career changes, etc. I find it particularly rewarding working with those with obsessions and compulsions, as well as those who have experienced sexual abuse or assault and are working to recover, thrive, and live well. I see clients in-person in Athens, GA or virtually across the State of Georgia. I offer individual counseling services to adults (18+). I see clients from 9-5 M-Th, 9-1 F.
I tailor my counseling services to each person's individual needs, but tend to pull from a few specific counseling approaches, including, but not limited to: Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy.
My goal as a counselor is to support the people I work with as they navigate the challenges of life and help them learn the skills to navigate those challenges on their own.
