My name is Elizabeth Stark, and I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist who has been providing psychotherapy for the last 20 years. I have provided services to Adults, Teenagers, and Children in individual and group settings. I utilize different types of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and Gestalt Therapy. I listen to what has worked and what has not worked in the past with other therapists or other approaches in order to provide the best-individualized goals that allow my clients to grow.
My clientele consists of Adults, Teenagers, and Children. I have provided therapeutic services to help with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Domestic Violence, Teen Violence, PTSD, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, and career concerns to name a few.
I try to create a warm empathetic, collaborative, encouraging approach. I want my clients to feel heard and validated but at the same time challenged to move out of their comfort zone, possibly recognize certain behaviors, and try new approaches.
