My name is Elizabeth Stager and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Rome, Georgia. I went to school in Kirkland, Washington at Northwest University where I obtained my MA in Counseling Psychology. My approach to therapy depends on the needs of the client. However, I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and tend to gravitate towards this modality the most. I also integrate the other approaches: faith-based, Person-Centered, Strength-Based, and Motivational Interviewing.
I enjoy working with a wide variety of age groups like children, teens, young adults, and families who may be struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, traumatic experiences, low self-esteem, etc.
My communication style is peaceful, authentic, and accommodating. I want my clients to feel safe and free from judgment. While also challenged to meet their personal goals. My hope is for the client to leave differently than how they came.
