Elizabeth (Beth) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 29 years experience working with diverse populations in a variety of mental health settings. Beth received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Old Dominion University and earned her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in Baltimore, MD. She has also received specialized training in Maternal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. Beth has worked as a Director at a mental health organization, and has experience working with adolescents and young children in school, home, and residential settings.
For the last eight years, she has worked as a Hospital Social Worker specializing in women's and children's services. Beth has also worked as an adjunct faculty member at Salisbury University where she taught Advanced Practice with Families to Masters-level Social Work students and mentored them in the field environment.
Beth's approach is solution-focused, strengths-based, and person-centered. She strongly believes that self-exploration, awareness, and healing through therapy should be celebrated and not stigmatized.
