As a fat-positive, queer therapist, I support my clients on their journey towards healing by incorporating a radical body liberation approach to therapy that is trauma-informed. I work with clients seeking to heal from oppressive narratives about their bodies, identities, and selves so they can live with more joy, pleasure, and connection. I have over 13 years of experience providing clinical care with diverse clients across the lifespan. Additionally, I have a particular interest in the intersection of body image concerns and religious trauma. I provide a warm, non-judgmental space for all individuals seeking healing.
I specialize in working with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, adjustment to life transitions, depression, gender/sexual identity concerns, body image concerns, religious trauma, grief, perinatal support and career counseling. My approach is person-centered, compassion-focused and primarily psychodynamic.
I offer a warm, respectful space for individuals to explore and identify areas of healing they are seeking for their lives. I am curious, empathetic, and recognize that for therapy to be effective, there needs to be a trusting, judgment-free therapeutic relationship.
