Hello, my name is Rhiannon Brown and I am a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker). I have my Bachelor's degree in Social Work with a minor in Criminology and a Master’s degree in Social Work both from the University of Kentucky. I have 5 years of past experience as a therapist. This includes past experience working with clients of all ages and demographics to help provide in-home services and trauma counseling. I have also worked in family reunification and preservation.
I have experience in Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I’m passionate about trauma based therapy and how it can help clients work through their trauma to help better understand their symptoms.
I enjoy working with all of clients including a focus of working with clients who are in the LGBTQIA+ community, people with medical conditions specifically invisible disabilities, and neurodivergent people.
