About
Each of us, at some time or another, needs someone who will listen to us and hear us without judgment. That is what I believe is the foundation of therapy, building a relationship in which you can feel safe. That relationship allows you to do the work needed to challenge the difficult issues you may be facing allowing for solutions and change. I am compassionate, a good listener, experienced, accepting, non-judgmental, knowledgeable and able to create a safe place for you to work.
In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am also a Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) and a Registered Nurse. Each of these areas of expertise brings its own dimension to my practice.
I have extensive experience with addiction both with the individual and the affected family. I have also extensive experience with clients have been effected by trauma as well as those who have experienced depression, anxiety and domestic abuse/violence.
