Not all therapists are alike and choosing one can be a challenge. Therapists practice in all sorts of ways and use all sorts of methods. I offer talk therapy. It’s just like it sounds. You talk and I listen to you. Essentially, our objective is to study your mind. On your own terms and at your own pace, you offer the study material. I am interested to know what makes you who you are. Hopefully you are interested in that too and if so, we are already on the same wavelength.
I bring kindness, compassion and a big ol’ heart to my therapy sessions. I sometimes use humor and my style is often playful. I’ve never managed to take life too seriously and certainly don’t plan to start now.
My downtown office is light and bright with high ceilings and windows taller than I am. I think it’s a welcoming, comfortable space. If you decide to come visit, I’ll have a place waiting for you on my orange couch.
