About
Therapy is a unique environment where you can feel accepted without judgment. I offer ideas based on my education and experience to help facilitate your healing. In a safe space where you feel seen and heard, you can identify and build on the strengths that are already within. I have worked with clients from preschool-age to folks in their 80s. Many of my clients have no prior experience with counseling or have felt disillusioned by it in the past. In addition to talk therapy, I utilize EMDR, play therapy, sandplay, & other expressive modalities.
In my practice, I strive towards re-centering marginalized voices and acknowledge systemic issues that contribute to suffering. My experience thus far has led me to clinical work around grief, chronic illness, childhood issues, and trauma. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, and I have particular interest in supporting folks living ace/aro spec identities.
Therapy can sometimes feel like sitting in the eye of a hurricane as greater cultural and societal problems whirl around us. Life is overwhelming. But I believe that every bit of support can help. I know from experience that finding the right therapist is hard. I encourage you to reach out to a few. If I am one of them, I look forward to connecting with you.
