I go by Ellis, and I am autistic, disabled, queer, and agender. <3 I believe you are the expert of your own experience, possessing inherent worth and galactic inner landscapes that deserve to be seen and celebrated. I enjoy working with clients who want to carve a fulfilling, value-led path outside of neuro-normativity and all systems of oppression. We may be a good fit if you are someone who feels at great depths and grapples with existential grief. Perhaps you're creative, autistic, AuDHD, 2e/3e, an OCDer, chronically ill, or LGBTQIA+ (ace/aro/trans/nb/enm)? Perhaps you are a pretty neat human? I'm honored to be here with you. :)
I practice from a neuro-affirming, decolonial paradigm. I use an eclectic, relational, trauma-informed approach, leaning on lived experience while incorporating parts work, somatic exploration, creative writing, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I meet each client wherever they are, with curiosity, accommodation, consent, gentleness, and respect.
I practice cultural humility/competence, and I actively listen to or am in relationship with people who have lived experience and wisdom related to being neurodivergent, mad, plural, Black, Latine, Indigenous, spiritual, undocumented, POGM/S, disabled, chronically ill, gender-nonconforming, and much more. It would be a privilege to be part of your journey!
