My style is collaborative and grounded in curiosity. My goal is to create a welcoming environment, one where patients feel empowered to explore their experiences, feelings, and thoughts. I tend to ask lots of questions to focus less on directing patients and instead support them in arriving at their own insights and decisions. At the end of treatment, patients have shared that they're better able to understand themselves and that they've found their voice.
They've let me know that the skills and insight they learned in our sessions have carried into their life outside of session in how they navigate their relationships, how they view themselves, and how they regulate their emotions.
