I'm so glad you're here. The world can feel like an inhospitable home at times. Relationships can be unsettled, self-medicating can dominate, and the past can haunt like a persistent ghost. Healing is necessary, because you are necessary. No matter how you may have struggled, there is no one else quite like you, and the world needs the magic that you possess. Therapy is about coming home to yourself - physical body, emotional body or heart, and mind. As it's said, the body keeps the score. In our therapeutic collaboration we'll create a safe container for your nervous system to settle in, to explore what healing could be like.
Initially trained in Logotherapy, I have a deep belief in the essentiality of purpose and meaning as a part of healing. I bring a multi-modality approach including DBR, EMDR, somatic experiential therapies, internal parts and states, acupuncture, yoga and more. As a CSAT I treat traumatic bonding, betrayal, sexualized attachment and other intimacy disorders.
A particular passion is working within the LGBTQ+ community and with all who have experienced marginalization, to reach empowerment and a true sense of self.
I have worked over the years in a variety of levels of care, including inpatient. Today I offer psychotherapy as well as psychotherapy intensives in my private practice based in Phoenix, AZ.
