I specialize in providing psychotherapy to young people, age eight up through the life cycle to adults. With 30+ years experience, I understand the tremendous level of courage needed by you to ask for help. I have helped many clients like you who may have struggled with depression and anxiety/posttraumatic stress, eating disorders, sexual abuse, and, other issues impacting relationships. In my tranquil office, I provide a supportive space where you can comfortably discuss your concerns. Together we can challenge your concerns impacting your daily living.
My approach is interactive, supportive, and directive. Many of my clients tell me they have had difficulty connecting with previous therapists. My newest treatment intervention is Cognitive Processing Therapy for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, including treating sexual assault. As a Maryland Board Approved Supervisor, I offer Social Work Supervision.
Services include Individual, Family, Group Therapy, and Family-Based Treatment (FBT) to teenagers and their families struggling with the eating-disordered behaviors of Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa.
