I currently have availability for both in-person and remote sessions. I believe that trust is the cornerstone to a successful therapy relationship and I allow my clients time to warm up to both me and the therapy process. My goal is to provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere for clients to address whatever challenges they may be facing, and I often use humor when appropriate in session. I love meeting new people and helping them reach their full potential. I draw from a number of therapeutic approaches, but I would say my work is largely a blend of person-centered and Dialectical Behavior Therapy with a bit of Ecotherapy mixed in.
I'm excited to expand my after-school hours and once again be able to accept new adolescent clients. I've always loved working with teens and I appreciate the excitement, fulfillment and, at times, humor that they bring to my practice. I also enjoy working with people with ADHD, especially those who are newly diagnosed or exploring a possible ADHD diagnosis.
It can be overwhelming and scary to reach out for support. Sometimes it's even harder to acknowledge to yourself that you're struggling. I want my office (whether in person or on a screen) to be a place of comfort and acceptance where people can grow at their own pace. I truly love what I do and I consider it an honor to be able to take part in this process.
