My work in the field of Mental Health has been a life-calling. I have over thirty years of experience counseling individuals, families and groups in a multitude of settings; including: inpatient and partial hospitalization, outpatient, community mental health and schools. In 2005, I earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University. When working with clients, I utilize a client-centered, accepting approach to establish the therapeutic relationship needed to facilitate change.
I practice an eclectic use of psychoanalytic and cognitive behavioral therapies to assist clients in coping with current issues, manage mental health symptoms and develop positive coping skills to move through difficult life challenges.
I assist clients with a wide variety of behavioral mental health issues: anxiety, depression, relationships, divorce, blended family, ADHD, change of life, grief. I look forward to helping you be your best self.
