Everyday family life has ups and downs. Families may expect transitions and challenges adapting. Yet, there are times when individuals and families find they have become stuck, bogged down, exhausted, entangled with a particular issue or a lap full of complex circumstances and stressors. In my role as a therapist and human being, I look forward to working with individuals and families (all shapes, sizes, and combinations of relationships) in discovery, exploration, and use of their strengths and potentials to adapt, heal, grow, create and transform within and through what may seem impossible.
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families. I use my gifts as an artist, my life skills of parenting/grandparenting, and my clinical skills as a therapist to create unique therapeutic experiences in the therapy room. I take time co-create treatment , which includes their gifts, interests, strengths, meaningful narratives, and culture.
