Thank you for having the courage to seek therapy. I do not know your story or why you are seeking but I know that it is not easy. In working with me, my hope for you would be that you would find freedom from whatever binds you and keeps you from joy, from peace, from living as fully as you have in you to live.
I work primarily with adult-aged individuals. My areas of focus are anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, disordered eating, self-esteem, and self development. I also work with recovery from physical, emotional, and sexual abuse trauma, stress management, parenting, and grief and loss.
My approach is relational psychotherapy, informed by attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology. This means I believe that your relationships, your relational life experiences, and how you think about yourself and others will be essential to our work, will help me understand you, and will help us move toward what you are seeking.
