Announcement icon I see clients exclusively through online/phone therapy. I am available by phone for a preliminary consultation regarding your therapy needs.
During this pandemic, it is normal to feel like things are harder. Individuals are grieving the loss of a larger community and having to rethink or postpone individual goals. In a couple or family, how one person does anxiety, grief or anger can create tensions with others. We are all struggling but are you in a rut? Now is the time to reach out and get help to navigate the crisis in front of us. Most of us have never been in this kind of crisis and you are not alone in being faced with your limits and the limitations of those around you. I want to help get you get back on track and make the best of the life you can have right now.
As a therapist focused on helping adults thrive at home and at work, I have been successful in helping people learn to communicate effectively while stressed out. This is a time to learn about what you need to stay centered and be able bring your best self to your work, family and couple in this crisis. Tell me, what you are you needing to improve right now?
With directness, humor and warmth, I will help you learn to build stronger relationships that can sustain and nourish you. I will work with you as an individual or with your couple and show you how to stay grounded and connected in these trying times.

Elizabeth J Gomart's Groups

Interpersonal group for adults 30-65

This weekly group of adults provides a safe place for growth and personal challenge. This is an ongoing co-ed group of individuals who are working on different life issues. The group is experiential in that the relationships in the room are examined as a way to understand more about oneself. It is a deeper therapeutic technique to gaining insight.

Interpersonal Group for adults 30-65

Interpersonal co-ed group focused on developing more authentic and effective relationships. Patients come to group therapy with a range of issues from depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, social anxiety, dating issues, trauma, work stress and burn out. Group offers a dynamic experience where you learn from others, receive real-time feedback, and feel a sense of support and community. You will learn to look at your problems differently, identify new ways of coping from others, and come to appreciate your own strengths and uniqueness.

Social Distancing Support Group (Ages 25-50)

NEW GROUP: Social distancing goes against our most primitive impulses that’s why it is so hard. For the next few weeks, you may find it difficult to meet your social needs. In addition, the relationships you have may suffer in times of stress (with limited mobility to boot). In this short-term group, you can get support from your group mates by simply connecting about your experience. You can also share coping strategies and use the group as a sounding board when your relationships get challenging.
