My name is Eliza Haughey, LPCC. I see the therapeutic alliance as the most important part of therapy. People need to feel safe, seen, and heard. A therapist should be a confidant and empower clients to feel comfortable sharing the experiences they are going through, from the profound to the mundane. I work with depression, anxiety, life changes and adjustment issues, addiction, eating disorders, and trauma.
I work with people with real life problems, people struggling to make sense of their lives and how to move forward and live their "best life". I am comfortable working with people who have anxiety and depression, addictions, eating disorders, life changes and adjustments.
I like to create a beautiful and peaceful environment, a place where people can breathe and "just be in the moment". I am often told that I have a soothing voice and clients feel more relaxed in my presence. I am client centered, and I will always support my clients, whatever they are going through.
