Greetings, please call me Liz! I help people with anxiety and trauma feel better and more peaceful. I'd love to meet you and get on your support team. I love being a counselor and very much enjoy seeing others happy and healthy! I use various counseling practices that you and I will agree upon, and plan for, as we get started. If you are an adult who is struggling with life challenges related to stressful events, relationships, past and present life experiences, including scary or traumatic childhood memories, I can help. Together, we reduce the discomfort of anxious thoughts/body sensations (nauseous, pounding heart), panic attacks, phobias, & emotional disturbance.
I offer the following treatment approaches: Trauma Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I provide treatment to calm your mind and body and help you begin feeling better right away! I'm ready when you are. I am also an Animal Assisted Therapist (AATI).

Groups
DBT skills group for adults.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills group is a weekly counseling group, run like an interactive class, which teaches skills across four main topics: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance skills. Group members are asked to complete homework assignments in which they practice the skills taught during the weekly lesson. Our DBT Skills group is 90 minutes and meets once a week, on Thursdays 4-530p, restarting November 2025! You will receive a consultation call from the group leader and instruction about joining the online group.
