Perhaps you are feeling chronically alienated, stuck, unseen, empty, or wrong in some way. Our work will help you to become more present and fulfilled by understanding barriers to emotional intimacy, addressing behavior patterns, and working toward your version of self-acceptance. I have helped individuals and couples to make meaningful progress by creating an environment in which even the most painful or uncomfortable fears, desires, memories, and behaviors can be brought into the light. This alone can bring relief and create possibilities for change. The effort and intentionality you bring to our work will also be essential.
My specialties are relationships, the impacts of chronic trauma, addiction, and community-building. I have completed training in Internal Family Systems (IFS Level 2), Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO), psychodynamic/relational models, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT). I work with individuals, couples, and groups.
You will find my approach collaborative and interactive. I hold a curious, nonjudgmental stance so we can better understand the realities of your circumstances: most things make sense in context. I have a strong commitment to social justice and working with people with diverse racial, sexual, gender, religious, and socioeconomic identities.

This group uses a variety of approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), to create a trauma-informed way of understanding our minds and bodies as complex and striving for survival. This group will offer a space to recognize and speak for internal conflict, which can look like rumination, inability to make a decision, shutting down, or acting impulsively. You will walk away with increased internal and external connectedness. Our work together will be relationally oriented and is informed by harm reduction principles. Integration with abstinence-based models of treatment and support, including NA/AA/SLA/CMA is appropriate and encouraged.
