My approach combines solution-focused therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy to assist my clients in maximizing their potential, one session at a time. For my younger clients, I often incorporate art therapy and role play to teach various coping skills. Additionally, I emphasize psychoeducation and frequently assign homework to reinforce learning.
In our first session, we will explore what brings you to therapy, any previous therapy experiences you may have had, the coping skills you are currently using, your family history, and we will establish goals for our work together.
