I have over 7 years of experience providing therapy to individuals seeking support to navigate through lifes challenges. I believe we get thrown into life and have to navigate relationships, work, family, stress and aging all with the expectation of keeping a smile on our faces. My job is to help you sort through the pressures, listen to what is hard and work with you on goal avcomplishment. I've worked with people in various stages of life, trauma, grief and hardship in a multitude of settings developing skills and strategies to cope with today's turmoil.
I offer an individual person-centered approach because much like life therapy is not a one size fits all approach. I listen with empathy and empower my clients to work though instead of avoid emotions. I work with older teens through adulthood specializing in life transitions as we took a look into discovering who we are and who we want to become.
Therapy can be intimidating to start, you are telling a stranger your deepest feelings and emotions. I want you to be comfortable in sharing and will work with you on building trust first before we get to the hard stuff. I believe that the best work is done in a trusting and safe environment which is my number one goal.
