Hello - my name is Elizabeth Calderon - Liz for short. I have been a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist since 2020. My greatest honor is to support people through change and be part of their journey from hurt to healing. I focus on solutions and client-centered therapy, mediating family and relational issues, the process of grief, and navigating the road to recovery from trauma.
My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each patient I work with. I most frequently utilize solution-focused, CBT, and Motivational approaches. I am drawn to helping people going through grief and relational issues, military personnel and their families, and those who have experienced trauma.
I want my client to know I care. I use active listening and open-ended questions to encourage clients to elaborate and self-reflect. I exude understanding and maintain calmness and empathy.
