Our lives are made up of moments, both pleasant and unpleasant. The unpleasant moments don't have to overshadow the pleasant ones. My job as a therapist is to assist you in identifying your goals and help you find ways to achieve them, offering support and validation along the way. Life is a journey, not a destination.
I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in my practice. The goal of DBT is to help clients build a life worth living. I also provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for adults to address trauma, using traditional eye movement techniques as well as new technology. I have now been trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
Feel free to contact me to discuss treatment and see if we are a good fit for each other. It is important to me that you feel comfortable with our therapeutic relationship.
