I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience working with families, children, adolescents, and adults on issues ranging from relationship issues, anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, and PTSD. I live in Arizona with my husband and two children. I enjoy the beautiful Arizona weather and hiking outdoors. My approach to therapy is tailored to the needs of my clients and their families. I have experience using cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered, and behavioral therapy.
I typically work with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. I have experience treating older adults with depression and anxiety. I create a welcoming, peaceful environment for my clients to grow. I approach goal setting as a tool for my clients to gauge their progress and ensure therapy is meeting their needs.
I decided to become a therapist because I wanted to help children and families. I started my career working with children and families in their homes, providing intensive support to manage difficult or challenging behavior. I have always loved to do this work and look forward to doing this work every day.
