To me, being a therapist is allowing the individual to be their true authentic self and to help guide them to reach their full potential. I have found in my time of being a therapist that each individual has the capacity and the tools already within them. Each time I sit with a client, I feel honored that they have allowed me to come along on their journey of healing and that they are sharing with me sides to them that they may not share with anyone else.
I integrate person centered therapy, narrative, strengths based, mindfulness, and narrative approaches. I meet clients where they are currently at in the present time while exploring past traumas/ circumstances. This allows me and the client to be on a journey to reach their goals and hopes for the future.
