I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia. Finding a good "fit" between client and therapist is essential to making changes and progress in life. I graduated with my Master's degree in Social Work in 2011 from the University of Georgia. I have enjoyed working with children, teens, adults, and families since then. I use talk therapy, play therapy techniques, and have completed Sandtray Play Therapy training.I have completed Level 1 of TheraPlay. I like to be challenged and I like to challenge my clients and I will listen to your needs and your priorities.
Play is the way that children communicate. Therapeutic toys, games, and sand trays, are helpful in providing a safe and calm environment for children to be able to express their needs and worries. Play therapy and Sandtray Play Therapy offer children, of all ages, this opportunity. I have completed all 3 levels of Sandtray Play Therapy with SageSource.
