About
Is your family going through a major life change or stressor? Perhaps a parent or child is sick? Maybe there has been a loss, a move, or another big event? As a parent, you want so badly to support your child when they are dealing with changes, but sometimes you just don't know how. You might feel guilty, sad or frustrated that you don't know how to help. Your child may need their own space to process what is going on for them, as well as a safe space where you can work through these adjustments together. Therapy can be that space.
I specialize in working with children and adults that have experienced significant life changes such as chronic illness, grief, anxiety, and adjustment concerns. I believe families can be stronger together in tough situations when they have the right tools. I utilize a strengths-based, person-centered approach to find the best way to meet your unique needs.
My main goal is to create a collaborative and trusting space for growth. Using an integrative approach that includes cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, art, writing, and more, we can work towards feelings of empowerment and strengthened family dynamics. I would be happy to be an ally to you and your family.
