Congratulations... you've taken the first step towards improving your emotional well being. Together, let's unpack the obstacles towards long lasting change. Perhaps, you've experienced a traumatic event or are experiencing isolation? Maybe you want to deepen the understanding of how you arrived where you are now in life? Maybe you are ready to explore the roots of depression, anxieties, or relationship stress? No matter the "why" of your suffering - a dysfunctional or chaotic family system, internalized negative belief systems, symptoms of PTSD - there is hope for change. I offer a strengths based and non-judgmental approach.
In trusting the process, you will discover your innate ability to evolve. As a trauma informed therapist, I work specifically with attachment wounds, "adult children" of emotionally unavailable parents, and those with a history of abuse. Additionally, as a former doula, I specialize in the perinatal period and help pregnant/postpartum people and couples.
Relational trauma is healed in safe relationships. With training in EMDR, IFS, and somatic work, and in a safe environment, I offer counseling for adolescents (13+) and adults. Together, we can examine what no longer serves you, practice the art of letting go, and hold space for a transformative journey towards enhanced well-being.
