Effective counseling can assist you in developing an awareness of personal strengths, clarifying problems and arriving at solutions. I use a variety of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and skills to help you explore individual growth, change and to encourage the discovery of true hope, healing, peace and joy. I am EMDR trained. I am Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) trained. Both EMDR and ART can reduce or eliminate the emotional pain associated with trauma.
Some areas of strength include parenting skills, conflict resolution, military family challenges, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, motivational issues, PTSD and trauma interventions, transitions of aging, emotional regulation, adjustment issues, integration of psychology and spirituality and relationship issues.
