About
The word psychotherapy comes from the ancient Greek word “psyche” and “therapeia”. Psyche means soul, and therapeia means healing. I look at psychotherapy as a process of soul healing. One may be facing a break down in relationships, a faith crisis, a sense of disorientation with nowhere to go, a life without meaning. It could be a loss of self worth. Or there may be old wounds, or wounds that continue to bleed that require healing. We can either run away, or stay helpless in such situations. Or we can start to listen to the deeper calling of soul and work towards healing, and towards Wholeness.
I am a Jungian Analyst in Training in ISAP, Zurich Switzerland. My work is based on the work of psychoanlyst Carl Jung. I offer companionship in the journey towards Wholeness. We will look at dreams, use the imagination, look at images and symbols grounded in ones life today. My work is also psychodynamic, looking at relationships with the family.
Jungian Psychoanalysis is a matter of heart and mind. Deep relatedness and reflection will be part of the work. I have learned to listen genuinely and participate in the other person's story. Having lived in many different countries, sensitivity to the individual's culture and heritage is important to me.
