I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Grand Junction, Colorado. I work with both teens and adults throughout the state of Colorado via telehealth and specialize in eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I take a holistic approach using modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Modification, Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, and Internal Family Systems.
My approach to therapy is based on meeting my clients where they are and working together to find the best approach. Flexibility is important to me, and I am always willing to change or adjust approaches as needed. Most often, I use cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness, but I have experience using a variety of other modalities.
My communication style is compassionate, adaptable, and warm. The most important indicator of therapeutic success is the relationship between the client and therapist, and I try to provide a space for clients to feel seen and heard, free of judgment.
