Are you experiencing stress or anxiety in social situations, about the current state of the world, or your future? Are you a teenager or young adult trying to figure out who you are on your own, and how you fit into the wider world? Or, perhaps you're a parent of a teenager or young adult wanting to support your child in navigating those concerns. Sometimes, we can hit a rough patch and feel pretty down. Life can feel like a lot at times, even for the most self-reliant among us. It's an act of strength and courage to reach out for support. I am currently accepting new clients. I primarily support teenagers and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma or stressors, life transitions, grief and loss, and relationship distress. I use a trauma-informed, identity-affirming, anti-racist perspective. My primary modalities include CBT, DBT skills, parts work/IFS, body-based approaches, and mindfulness.
Whether we meet via telehealth or in person, I hope you or your child feel comfortable and empowered to be authentically yourself. If you're a teen, rest assured we will involve parents at key points in treatment planning and if safety concerns arise; otherwise, my focus is on you, looping in your parents when it feels supportive and with your permission.
