Whether you are suffering with feelings of depression or anxiety, or struggling in an important relationship, our work together can make things better. My approach to Individual and Relationship therapy is warm, collaborative, and focused. My clinical orientation is informed by attachment theory, trauma research, and systems thinking.
I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (the leading evidence based practice for relationship therapy) to support people in relationships who are navigating challenges with communication, struggling with repeated conflicts, or feelings of loneliness or inadequacy. This work de-escalates conflict, deepens connection and increases relationship satisfaction.
I also provide integrative trauma therapy for individuals experiencing a wide range of symptoms associated with complex trauma. Sessions address the experience of the body and nervous system, utilize “parts work”, and mindfulness practice in therapy. I encourage you to reach out and we can set up a free 15 minute Zoom call as a first step.
