I view therapy through a lens of meaning-making. This means acknowledging and accepting difficult past experiences and making sense of them in a way that promotes self-discovery and growth. My approach draws heavily from attachment-based and psychodynamic perspectives, as I believe our early experiences deeply influence how we relate to ourselves and others.
During our time together, I also enjoy incorporating meditation, art, and other expressive activities. These creative tools can support healing and foster new ways of thinking and being. I have experience working in a school-based setting as well as UPMC's Western Psychiatric Hospital and am comfortable working with children, teens, and adults of all ages.
