My approach to therapy starts with meeting a client where they are in the present moment and helping them identify their most pressing concerns as we work together. I consider myself a partner with my clients in the therapy process, offering education, support, and reflection to help a client better understand themselves and their experiences.
I use a combination of therapeutic techniques and approaches that adapts and tailor my approach to each client. I use elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialect Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Interventions, and Mindfulness are regularly used in my practice.
I want my clients to feel safe, comfortable, and open when working with me. I strive to create a strong relationship with my clients where they feel comfortable being honest with themselves while knowing I am not there to pass judgment on them.
