My goal is to empower you to better understand yourself and address whatever may be a struggle for you. Overall, I offer a collaborative, transparent relationship that encourages insight, confidence, and growth. I enjoy humor, chatting about your hobbies, and debunking tiktok videos in sessions so that our work feels more like a conversation than a clinical chore for you. My favorite moments of being a therapist are helping you get to that 'aha' moments so we can work on the steps needed to feel fully like yourself! Depression and anxiety are rampant in our chaotic world and I'm here to help you manage that.
I specialize in religious trauma, identity processing, and BPD, but I have an extensive background and would love to work with anything you bring my way. My guidance typically involves reframing thoughts, building assertiveness, identifying/managing emotions, trauma-informed care, and processing the past.
I see adults and older adolescents (16+) from all walks of life and affirming to all identities. Education on social justice issues, including racial, cultural, and religious differences, is a top priority for me. Not all human experiences can be expressed verbally, so I am trained in both traditional talk therapy and offer art therapy as well.
