With over 20 years experience as a psychotherapist, I have successfully helped adults, adolescents, and children develop more productive coping strategies, better communication skills, and a sense of resilience.
With expertise in schools and the child welfare field, one of my specialties is in treating (and helping parents with) a wide array of child and adolescent mental health issues, including depression, mood/anxiety disorders, learning differences and attention deficit, divorce, loss/bereavement, attachment difficulties, trauma, and substance use.
My clinical approach is warm and interactive. I treat each adult, child, or adolescent with respect, sensitivity, and empathy, helping him or her to build upon strengths, identify and address obstacles, develop better insight, and to form more meaningful and positive relationships with others.
