I am experienced and passionate about treating a range of disorders including depression, anxiety, ADHD, learning disorders and individuals with high functioning autism. I am particularly focused on helping individuals improve their self esteem. Whether it be for my passion for changing the stigma on men’s mental health, working performance anxiety in athletes at the highest level of their sports or helping high functioning individuals on the autism spectrum overcome their social anxiety and improve their communication with peers.
I provide a variety of different services to a variety of clients. I predominantly use CBT, Narrative therapy and motivational interviewing. Using these different types of therapy I will assist my clients with the tools they would need so they can reach their goals and maintain their mental health.
As an outpatient I like to use a strengths based perspective so that my clients are able to build on the positives they already have rather than focusing on defeats and feeding into a deficit mindset. I help people move forward and build up towards more confidence and self efficacy. The goal is to create partnership with my clients and some sense of control
