I offer a specialized approach for children who may be struggling to express what is going on inside. Children often lack the words to articulate experiences like trauma, anxiety, of family changes, but they can show us what they feel through their play. I help children and families move toward greater emotional well-being.
I believe that "play is the language of the child", and through this lens I help young clients process big emotions in a way that feels safe, natural, and age-appropriate. I observe and reflect on a child's play themes, using them as a therapeutic guide to help children build emotional awareness, process difficult experiences, and develop coping skills.
