I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience, most of which have been spent serving in a community-based anti-poverty agency. I have experience working with diverse multicultural populations. I specialize in areas of depression, anxiety, panic, anger, trauma, substance use, healing from incarceration, chronic illness, and overall life stressors. I also have experience working with individuals living with and affected by HIV.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Connecticut. I use a variety of treatment approaches that are unique to each person, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy/radical acceptance, mindfulness, psychotherapy, and solution-focused therapy.
I strongly believe in helping people grow and find their way. Most importantly, I want to help unlock the strengths often weighed down by pain, self-doubt, and life stressors.
